Artist Bio
Rita Squitiere is an independent Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist. She received her Master of Fine Art in Costume Design from Temple University.
In 2005 Rita joined A Wish Come True, a dance recital costume company, as a pattern maker and designer. Her designs were featured under the company title in magazines such as Dance Spirit and Pointe Magazine and sold in stores like FAO Schwartz. Ms. Squitiere has also held positions at the prestigious Curtis Music Institute Opera Theatre as the resident Wardrobe Supervisor and taught Costume Design at Temple University.
Rita now Designs & Styles for film, theatre, and commercial. Her latest design credits include The Nomads starring Tika Sumpter, Tate Donovan, & Raekwon. The Virtuoso starring Anthony Hopkins, Anson Mount, & Abbie Cornish. Pope: the Most Powerful Man in History, produced by Glass Entertainment Group for CNN covering 2,000 years of history and the papacy. Cold Turkey, an independent feature film produced by Burn Later Productions & Midway Films, written/ directed by Will Slocombe, starring Peter Bogdanovich, Cheryl Hines, Alicia Witt, & Sonya Walger. Romantic comedy Slow Learners, directed by Don Argott & Sheena Joyce, starring Adam Pally, Sarah Burns, Reid Scott and many more. Commercials clients have included Mountain Dew, Google Pixel 2, UBER, Dietz & Watson, & Lowe's.
Recent Wardrobe Supervising credits include M. Night Shyamalan's Split & Glass & the STX produced 21 Bridges.
Costume Buyer credits include AMC Networks Dispatches From Elsewhere & HBO's Mare of Easttown.
